International Reach

MYD Capital Partners works from offices in Dubai and Oakland, California, across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Behind every engagement sits an international network of funds, family offices, investors, acquirers, banks and lenders, and strategic partners. We treat the cross-border questions that come with it as part of the method, not as an afterthought.

Where we work

Our offices are in Dubai, at the Dubai World Trade Center, and in Oakland, California. From there we work across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, as a matter of course rather than as an occasional exception.

In figures: 5 continents · 40+ strategic markets · 500+ capital partners · 50+ countries of accumulated cross-border experience.

We work in the space between the traditional business world and global capital, and someone has to speak both languages. A family-owned company that has spent decades building its position in one market rarely knows how an investor on another continent will read it. An investor rarely knows how a founder family will read its offer. Much of our work is making each side legible to the other.

Who our network includes

A network is only useful if the right party can be reached at the right moment, and taken seriously once reached. Ours brings together:

  • Private equity and growth funds looking for prepared companies in the €50M–€500M revenue range.
  • Family offices, which often share a founder family's long horizon and its concern for continuity.
  • Investors and strategic acquirers seeking a market position, a capability or a geography they do not yet have.
  • Banks and lenders, including those behind refinancing, club deals and project finance.
  • Strategic partners for joint ventures, distribution, licensing and cross-border alliances.

Every counterparty is qualified against the specific mandate before any contact is made. Introductions are made through MYD Capital Partners, under NDA, and we represent one party in a transaction, never both. Our network is how we reach the right counterparty in The Confluence™, the right lender in The Dawn™ and the right partner in The Polarity™.

The corridors we know best

Some routes carry capital and partnerships more often than others. Türkiye, the Balkans, Europe and the Gulf form one such corridor, and it runs in both directions. Family-owned industrial, consumer and real estate companies in Türkiye and the Balkans often look to European and Gulf capital for growth, succession or partnership. Gulf and European investors, in turn, look toward the same region for companies with established market positions and room to grow.

For companies, this means a counterparty is often closer than it first appears, but reads the company through a different lens. For investors and acquirers, it means access to strong family businesses that rarely surface through conventional deal flow. Our page for global investors and acquirers describes how we work with that side of the table.

How we handle cross-border questions inside the method

Cross-border transactions carry currency, structural and cultural questions a domestic-only process never has to answer. We build them into The 23:12 Methodology™ from the first conversation:

  • Currency. Revenue, costs and debt in different currencies change how a valuation is read and how a deal is structured. We address this in the financial model and valuation, before a counterparty raises it.
  • Structure. Holding structures, the location of intellectual property and the transferability of key contracts are settled at the Vessel and Frame stages, so they do not surface for the first time in diligence.
  • Culture. Negotiation style, pace and how directly difficult points are raised differ between markets. We prepare for this directly, because a deal that makes sense on the numbers can still fail on a misunderstanding.

Our guide to cross-border M&A for family businesses sets out these questions in more detail. More about the firm itself is on About MYD.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only work on cross-border transactions?

No. Many engagements are domestic, and the method is the same. The network matters most when the right counterparty sits in another market.

Do you introduce us to investors directly from your network?

Only within a signed mandate, after Phase Zero, and after each counterparty has been qualified against your objectives. We do not circulate companies to a list, and your identity stays protected until you decide otherwise.
